About me

JOSH MERWIN opened eyes with his dynamic images featured in ESPN the Magazine and Sports Illustrated beginning in 2003. With numerous double-page spreads in the Zoom and Leading off sections of the respective magazines, his images have enjoyed running in the largest format possible in the top two magazines in the sports industry.

Since moving to NY in late 2006, Josh has spent time apprentacing with Fashion/Celebrity Photographer Kenneth Willardt and the team of Markus Klinko & Indrani, who are widely considered the top photographers in the Fashion/Celebrity Industry. He is currently working on projects documenting athletes and celebrities with stories that go beyond the field of play and the show. His personal relationships with his subjects will allow more in-depth coverage of the sports and entertainment worlds in the twenty-first century.

Josh graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in Journalism and Film Studies in December 2001. Based in New York City, he freelances for various clients around the world.
