Stories: Eric Eiland Project

Lamar High School football and baseball player Eric Eiland's family home burned down in early 2006. The Eiland family lost nearly all of their personal possessions, along with al of Eric's trophies and team pictures, which were destroyed in the fire. Thankfully, no one was injured. This ongoing project follows his family's journey as they move on and into a new house. In the summer of 2007 Eric fulfilled one of his childhood dreams when he was drafted in the second round of the MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays.
