Stories: NBA Baby Birth Story

Mike James and his wife Angela had their third daughter, Michal Micaya James on December 29, 2006. It was a strenuous three weeks as Angela waited to go into labor. Mike plays basketball in hte NBA, so she was not sure if he would be in town when she had the baby. They were very pleased that when she went into labor Mike was in town. He left on a road trip that evening.

This project won third place for a Celebrity Picture Story at the 2007 NPPA Best of Photojournalism Contest.
